If you know you are college bound, it is incredibly important to take the ACT! It is an admission requirement to almost every college. The more effort you put into preparing and studying for the test, the more likely your score will increase. Also, you can take the ACT multiple times. Some experts encourage students to take it early and often. Find dates to the National ACT here . EPIC's ACT code is 372720.
The new 2020–21 FAFSA form is here! Current Seniors planning to attend college next year must complete this. Click here to complete the FAFSA: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa

Mindplay - A new, free, adaptive learning application for English Language Arts
Part of the EPIC Essentials suite of educational software, Mindplay uses adaptive technology to assess your learner's current reading ability, meets them at their current reading level and formulates a plan to move them forward. As educators, we know that goals and habits are linked together. With just 30 minutes a day with this incredible tool, you can move the needle on reading progress in a significant way.

Why? Quite simply, because Mindplay works!

Since its inception in September, we have seen a 20% increase of those students using Mindplay advancing at least one grade level in reading. That is significant progress.

EPIC Charter Schools invested in this technology because we are constantly trying to improve the instructional choices we offer our families. It’s available to every student in grades 3-8, is absolutely free (it doesn’t even impact a family’s learning fund) and meets every student where they are educationally … just like EPIC does.

Try it today. After all, it's totally free and shown to work!
