Upper School Awards

Online Summer Health Class
Students may register for an online Health summer course. The course will run from July 1 through August 9. This will free up students schedule to take other classes during the year. The fee for the class is $225. To register, please contact Ms. Martha Bainbridge at marthabainbridge@concordiaprepschool.org   no later than June 19th. 

Final Exams for Grades 9th – 11th
Formal final exams that traditionally happen the last week of school for 9 – 11th graders have been modified. Final assignments or projects will be given as determined by the department. Please reach out to each individual teacher for clarification on these assignments. Students will meet with their class during the exam week instead of having formal exam times. There will be a modified schedule for the week of June 1-5.
 
Schedule for Tuesday-Friday (June 2-5): On Tuesday and Thursday students will only attend classes 1-4 and on Wednesday and Friday students will only attend classes 5-8. Our OnCampus learning system will updated to direct students to the proper classes. 
 
  • Class 1/5 - 8:00 - 8:45 am
  • Class 2/6 - 9:00 - 9:45 am
  • Break - 9:45 -10:15 am
  • Class 3/7 - 10:15 - 11:00 am
  • Class 4/8 - 11:15 am -12:00 pm

Cross Country Interest Meeting for Current Eighth-Grade and Upper School Students
Mrs. White is having a Cross Country interest meeting next Thursday, May 28, at 3:00 pm via Zoom. The link is below. The meeting is for any upper school student interested in running cross country next fall.


Course Requests for 2020-2021 (May 11 – June 5)
All students entering grades 9 – 12 may start to request their core courses and electives for next year. The course requests will be for the full-year core courses and both 1st and 2nd semester electives. Course requests will be taken through onCampus and must be completed by June 5th. 

Click on the Course Request tab on your Home page. Select the courses and semester. Some courses will require teacher approval/recommendations. Talk to your teacher about recommending these courses for you. For course descriptions, go to the Curriculum Guide located on the Resource Board in onCampus. Email Mrs. Grill at  kimgrill@concordiaprepschool.org  if you have any questions about the courses you need to take for graduation.

Middle School enrichment requests will be sent out later in the summer.

Technology Updates
Students should install the Zoom 5.0 version, which was released on April 27, 2020. This version provides new meeting security enhancements.  This version will be required to join meetings by May 30, 2020 . To update your Zoom app from a laptop or desktop computer, please visit  zoom.com/download and download Zoom Client for Meetings. For mobile devices or tablets, you can update the app from your device's App Store.

Monday, May 25:  School Closed for Memorial Day

Tuesday, May 26:  Middle School Awards Night at 6:30 pm

Thursday, May 28:  Last day for eighth grade students.  NOTE:  Eighth-grade students enrolled in upper-level courses are required to attend those classes through June 5.

Friday, May 29: Eighth Grade Affirmation at 6:30 pm

Tuesday, June 2 - Friday, June 5: Final classes/assessments. Noon dismissal each day.

Friday, June 5: Last day of classes

Monday, June 8 - Friday, June 12:  Faculty Meetings.

Friday, June 12:  Report Cards posted via OnCampus.

Monday, June 15: Summer hours begin.  Staff will be available from 9:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 am to 12 noon on Fridays.
