And so it begins...our journey to find a way forward for our denomination begins with excitement, anticipation and a great deal of anxiety. This journey begins with a worship service lifting high the Cross of our Redeemer, Savior and Lord of the Church. This journey has been taking us into uncharted territories already, and, at the risk of getting lost in the process, what keeps us going is the faithful presence of Christ. The hope of our mutual journey into the unknown is that it will take us into new discoveries, great possibilities and different experiences. The certainty of our ultimate destination is that God holds our very future in His hands. And so be it...let us begin this journey today...
