Ministry Highlight
Youth Ministry
This month we are highlighting our youth ministry. This ministry is headed up by Pastor J Lloyd. This ministry serves middle school and high school-aged youth. They meet Sundays after worship, about 10:20 am, and on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 pm. This is a high-impact Youth Ministry that is geared towards sound biblical teaching and mentoring. The event coming up is our annual Falls Creek Camp. Registrations are open for this camp event. Also, if you have any questions, please reach out to Pastor J at j@communityofgrace.com.
Children's Ministry:
Every Sunday at 10:00 service, we will be in-person with Bible stories, and other fun activities. Don't miss this opportunity to get together with other kids and celebrate Jesus together! Sign up here or contact Nancy for more information.
Student Ministry:
Summer is finally here and I’m sure the last few weeks have been crazy at home trying to get school wrapped up. Just wanted to reach out to keep you in the loop as to what is going on at SOGCOG over the coming months. - Campfire Convos
Starting 7/6 we will add a fun twist to our Tuesday Night Chill by meeting on the church's front lawn from 8-10 pm to hang out around a campfire and share in some culturally relevant conversations, and of course, there will be S’mores!!! Bring your own S’more stick and camp chair and don’t miss this new summertime favorite running through the month of July. WE WILL NOT MEET on 7/20 because SOGCOG will be at Falls Creek……. and your student should be too!!!!!
- Summer Camp is Coming. Falls Creek is a month and a half away!!! I can’t urge you enough to get your student and their friends to Falls Creek this year. Check out the Parent Connect page for pricing, scholarship, and fundraising opportunities and a link to a Google drive with tons of information about Falls Creek including the Student Registration form. Let's get your students to camp! There will be a MANDATORY parent & student camp meeting on 7/11 (SUNDAY) directly after church.
- Level Up
On 8/1, SOGCOG will welcome in our new 6th graders! I will be hosting a 6th grader breakfast before service so if you know anyone going into 6th grade, be sure to get them connected with me! High School Students will stay in the main service and we will bring over middle school students only for a time to get to know each other a little more as we welcome in our newcomers.

What’s Happening
NICARAGUA COLLECTION:
Friends and family are you tired of wearing your masks, your vaccinated, and ready to get back to a new normal? Don’t throw your cloth masks away. Our international medical team will require people in the villages to wear the masks when they visit. Many do not have masks. If you have any unwanted cloth facemasks, gattors, or unused surgical masks, please place in collection bin in foyer.
Youth Camp Fundraiser: Envelopes on wall
You will see envelopes hanging on the wall. This is to help support our youth camp and offset some of those travel costs. Please consider supporting them!
