Dear Wonderful Lovejoy Community:
Congratulations to our Lovejoy High School students for finishing your year strong! While it may not have been the way we envisioned, you all are the true MVPs!

We know many of us feel like we have been living a bit of a "Groundhog Day", and how fast the end of the year has come!

We can't wait to celebrate our student's accomplishments through the many special recognitions your campuses have planned. Seniors, we can't wait to honor you with a courtyard graduation ceremony and community parade on May 30th!

Know you all are loved and we are #Lovejoy Proud of each of you!
Leopard on the Rise
Once a month, Lovejoy ISD will highlight a student in the district who "Lives Lovejoy" and exemplifies the graduate profile in action.

Dr. Goddard had a chance this week to visit with Brendan Bruner, a Lovejoy High School Sophomore about his legacy of service. Brendan helped start the Hart Elementary well program and it is still going strong six years later! We are Lovejoy proud of Brendan and how he exemplifies the graduate profile through service to others!

Graduation Information
We are excited to honor our graduates with a Courtyard Graduation and parade on Saturday, May 30th!

We have carefully planned a ceremony that will help ensure our Senior class receives the honor and celebration they deserve. We will be transforming the courtyard at Lovejoy High School into a graduation stage and will ensure all of our students have an opportunity to participate either by walking the stage on the courtyard, or driving through to receive their diploma.

The graduation event will be streamed live and a link will be available early next week on the Lovejoy High School and District websites. In addition, families attending the event will also have the opportunity to tune into the graduation through an FM radio station that will be locally broadcasting the event and providing audio for the ceremony.

As we look ahead at next Saturday, please know we have an inclement weather plan that would include moving the graduation ceremony to Sunday, May 31st, at 2 pm, should weather prevent us from holding the ceremony on Saturday. The parade will be held on Saturday, May 30th, rain or shine!

We will be sending additional information to our families and community next week regarding specific details about the graduation event. We have also created a Senior page that we are updating daily with important Senior information - Senior Website.
