Fellow Skålleagues,
Skål International USA trusts you are well and safe. This year has been devastating to our industry and we are here to assist our members who have suffered financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We urge our clubs to pay the dues for those members who are financially challenged. Some clubs will find sponsors to assist, many clubs will pay the dues, and some clubs will hold dues fund raising events.
Your Skål USA Executive Committee realizes some clubs will be unable to assist their members; and with the approval of all clubs at the NCM, a fund has been established to cover Active Skål Members’ International and USA dues.
Jim Dwyer, your Vice President of Membership, has recently sent all clubs a list of members. Please review this roster and make the necessary corrections. We urge you to invoice your members this month in order for your club to have a good indication of member involvement in 2021.
Please contact members who have unpaid dues invoices in order to determine their intent to pay. Follow up with a letter that advises them of available financial assistance; and who they may contact locally.
