Adjusting to vision loss, especially with the new restrictions of the pandemic can be a challenge. MABVI can help in a number of ways:
- Low vision peer support groups meet every month by phone. Share and learn with others.
- For individualized support related to vision loss adjustment, we offer remote 1:1 sessions with clinicians who know what you are going through.
- If you would like support for depression or other mental health concerns, we are able to connect you to a therapist in the community.
Is being stuck at home taking away from feeling socially connected?

Team With A Vision Runs Boston (Virtually)
|
|
The 124th Boston Marathon may have been cancelled but don't tell that to the 35 runners who ran 26.2 miles earlier this month. The virtual Boston Marathon meant runners ran wherever they lived.
Mike Castle ran in France, Tayana Passos in Brazil, and Michaela Flaherty in Hingham. Some ran on the Boston Marathon course, others ran on treadmills, and then there was Joyce Cron. Her finish line stretched over a pool. There were so many highlights --but check out this feature on NESN.
