Everything looks a little different this year, and we were determined to spread the Halloween spirit however we could. We wanted our students to have some Halloween fun, and our volunteers and coaches were there to save the day! Our kids were in for a real "treat" when they received a hand-delivered, specially made Halloween package to celebrate the spook-tacular season!
Our coaches added a touch of learning, as we always try to do, by bringing along a traveling bookstore with them so the kids could pick their own books to keep. When the candy is gone, the books will still be there! Thank you volunteers and coaches for all that you do, and Happy Halloween to all!

We recently celebrated one of the most special times in Best Foot Forward history, Jeff's graduation! You may remember Jeff from a few years ago, when his perseverance led him to pass the ACT on his last and final try. It was such an amazing milestone for not only Jeff, but for BFF. But that was not the only accomplishment Jeff had on his list.
When COVID cancelled his college graduation, we made sure to do it in our own BFF fashion, and even made it a surprise! The look on Jeff’s face when he came in and saw what we had in store for him was priceless! We would like to thank Herff Jones for providing the cap and gown, Gina Fontana for taking graduation portraits and Home Safe for hosting the COVID-safe celebration. Jeff achieved his goal, but not without having to overcome huge hurdles and barriers. We never lost faith in him and stood by him throughout it all. His hard work paid off, and we wanted to show how proud we were of him.
His story, which you will be able to hear when he speaks at the Sole Mates Luncheon on November 18th, is nothing short of inspiring! There were lots of smiles, cheers, and tears of happiness for Jeff, and we know this success is one of many more to come!

Be a BF ELF
This holiday season, you can help our students experience what it feels like to give, something they have missed out on until BF Elf. It is by far one of our favorite programs!
Each student is able to choose a gift for anyone of their choice, within a $20 value. You can help by purchasing one or more of the requested gifts, which must be in the office by December 9th!
