Lawrence Students Benefit from Parent Engagement
|
|
The team at Lawrence Elementary School wholeheartedly believes that parent and community partnerships benefit students in many ways that include and extend beyond academic performance. Lawrence has a dedicated and enthusiastic group of parent volunteers who play organized games with students during lunch/recess three times each week. This school-home partnership benefits both parents and students. Research shows that when parents are involved at schools, students are more likely to have higher grades, better attendance, and stronger social skills.
