Due to the continued concerns and gathering restrictions around COVID-19, the Spring Backyard Burn at Hemlock (that was postponed until June 21) is now  CANCELLED .  

 

The safety of our athletes, our volunteers, our spectators, and the EX2 staff will always be what is most important to EX2.  

EX2 has largely had the same postponement and cancellation policy since its founding.  It says that if a race is postponed and the racer can't make the new date, then they receive 100% credit to another race.  This is also the case if a race is cancelled. This policy always results in a financial loss for EX2, but we believe the credit policy treats our athletes fairly.

 

This week I will process 100% credit for everyone in the race.   You will be able to use this credit towards any EX2 running event through the end of 2021.

If you do not want to use your race credit, that is OK and I absolutely appreciate your support.

As an alternative, I'm happy to give you a 50% refund of your entry fee.  If you would like this partial refund, just reply to this email letting me know.

 

I'm hanging on to all the race t-shirts that I had printed and will bring them to future races.  You are welcome to pick one up then.
