2020 Great Willamette Clean Up:
Oakridge from Greenwaters (LAND)

WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and our partners as we "GET DIRTY FOR GOOD" during our Great Willamette Clean Up 2020 series of events! 

WHERE: Meet in the community parking area at Greenwaters Park; turning LEFT from the entrance to the park off Hwy. 58 toward the Community Center (NOT the rest area).

WHEN: Saturday - 10/10 * 9AM-12PM

DETAILS: Please bring water, face mask, hand sanitizer, and sturdy closed-toe shoes for safety against sharps and walking in uneven terrain. We will provide trash bags, non-latex gloves, trash pickers and masks for those without their own. Volunteers are required to wear masks and practice social distancing for the duration of the event. This clean up is limited to no more than 15 volunteer participants and will be led by our partners at the City of Oakridge, Middle Fork Willamette Watershed Council and Southern Willamette Forest Collaborative.

FOR FUN: We could all use a little more joy in 2020, so with October being Halloween season, and "trash" being pretty creepy already... we invite all volunteers to get into the spirit of things and clean up in their favorite costume or Halloween flare.
