MANAGERS MESSAGE
Beware of Pedestrians
As a family-friendly community we ask that you always drive within the posted speed limit and be cautious of pedestrians. This Halloween we ask you to be extra cautious as many of our community residents will be out enjoying the holiday festivities and trick-or-treating with their friends and family.
We remind you to please don't text and drive, obey the speed limit and yield to pedestrians.

Bond Re-purpose Election Info

On June 14, 2019, the Governing Board of the District passed and adopted a resolution calling a special bond re-purposing election to authorize changes to the list of capital projects and the purposes authorized by the voters of the District at the special bond election held in and for the District on November 5, 2013.

A “yes” vote would allow the District to apply funds already approved by voters to the most important capital needs of the District. Because the bonds have previously been approved by the voters and the Governing Board, there is no tax impact associated with the bond re-purpose.

The last day to mail in your early ballot is Wednesday, October 30. More information can be found on the Higley Unified School District website .
Under Armour All-America High School Football Game
The 2020 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game Selection Tour visited Higley High School Oct. 24 to formally present senior Jason Harris with an honorary game jersey commemorating his selection to the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game.

A defensive end for the Knights, Harris is one just a handful of players nationwide who will be featured in the Jan. 2, 2020, game.

“I want to thank my family, coaches and the support staff at Higley. I think this jersey doesn’t represent just me. It represents all you guys, my teammates, everyone who has been a part of this journey,” Harris said during the presentation at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts.
