Manufacturing Month 2019:
A Timeline of Tech Production in Chandler
Dating back to as early as 1967, high-tech manufacturers have chosen Chandler to house major production hubs. Decades later, approximately 23,570 Chandler employees are still actively working in the industry. To put the number in perspective, manufacturing jobs currently make up 20 percent of all jobs in Chandler.

To commemorate this year’s Manufacturing Month, we compiled a timeline of some of Chandler’s history in the high-tech manufacturing industry.
