SATURDAY SEMINAR SERIES TOMORROW: DECEMBER 7, 2019

Please bring a dessert and join us for our third seminar of the series on Saturday December 7th at 7:00-8:30 pm For this Seminar, we have two guest speakers speaking on two different topics of importance to our community.

1. Shazia Chaudhry, LMSW – a Program Lead at Dementia Friends CT will share an introduction to what dementia is, 10 warning signs, and communication tips on how to support someone living with dementia. It is a disease that affects people regardless of race, ethnicity, faith, socio-economic factors.

2. Shehrezad Haroon, a recent law student graduate working as a fellow at Greater Hartford Legal Aid (GHLA) will talk about immigration issues of interest to our community. As part of her fellowship, she hopes to increase access to Legal Aid within the Muslim community.
