Dear North Side Community School Friends,
Happy new year! 2020 was certainly a challenging year to say the least, but I am so proud of how our students, faculty and community came together to get through it. We hope things will be simpler and easier in 2021.
This semester we are back to in-person instruction as an option for all grades (virtual learning will continue to be an option). This is the first time this school year our middle school students are on campus. It has been a smooth return for them, thanks to the work of its administrators, Leah Harris and Stephon Greenlee. Below we introduce them to you.
Since its' inception, North Side has placed a heavy emphasis on language development and literacy. These are essential for academic success at all levels. We are pleased to be selected to participate in the state's $18 million Literacy Development Grant Program. More information and the press release can be found below.
As always, our goal is to meet academic and social-emotional needs of our students. We continue to invest time and resources to ensure those needs are met. We thank you for your continued support to allow us to meet this goal.
Sincerely,
John Grote
Executive Director
