Student Resources
EagleSync

EagleSync2.0 is USI's one-stop shop for activities and engagement outside the classroom. EagleSync2.0 lists events happening around campus and information about all of our student organizations as well as many campus departments.

Getting involved is easy! Find an organization, make contact with them, and start attending their meetings and events. Don't know what you might enjoy? Try starting with a club associated with your major, a cause that you believe in, or something that just sounds like fun. If you want a certain type of club that USI doesn't currently offer, contact us to get it started.

USI Multicultural Center
The Multicultural Center (MCC) was established in 1994 and has been a champion for diversity ever since. The MCC creates opportunities to provide cultural interaction between students, the campus, and the community at large to provide outreach experiences and to promote cultural awareness and sensitivity. It accomplishes this by sponsoring programs, providing services, advising organizations, hosting events and conducting diversity training both on and off campus. The Center engages in collaborative efforts focusing on diversity, houses a multicultural collection of over 800 books which are and cataloged in the David L. Rice Library, and publishes an online newsletter.
Dean of Students Office
Office of Religious Life
The Dean of Students Office (DOSO) helps your student succeed at the University by connecting them to resources, assisting as they navigate administrative processes with other University offices and servings as an advocate when students face academic and personal challenges. The DOSO provides support during times of challenge, crisis and emergencies as well as opportunities for students to engage in good decision making.
Religious Life provides religious guidance and worship opportunities for students, faculty and staff. Their goal is to get the word out about ways to stay active in your faith life while at USI. They offer retreats, fellowships, bible studies, worship mass, service opportunities and educational programming! Visit the Office of Religious Life on the corner of O'Daniel and Clark Lanes.

Flu Shots Now Available at the University Health Center
The University Health Center (UHC) is once again providing flu shots for USI students. All students who wish to receive a flu shot on campus are asked to schedule an appointment online. Appointments can also be made by calling the UHC at 812-465-1250, though online scheduling is preferred. Flu shots are free for students with the Office Visit Plan. Students without the Office Visit Plan can bill the flu shot cost through insurance or pay $25.
Eagle Perks
Eagle Perks is a voucher program that gives USI students free or discounted access to Evansville events. There is one specific activity each month along with other activities that can be used anytime throughout the year.

Students can pick up a voucher at the RFWC with a valid USI ID (limit one per student). Vouchers are only available to those who have paid the current semester's activity fee.
On-Campus COVID-19 Testing
On-campus COVID-19 testing is now available for USI students at the former Children’s Learning Center (not the University Health Center). Testing is available by appointment only on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings.

Call the University Health Center (UHC) at 812-465-1250 to schedule an appointment to be tested for COVID-19.

USI Family Fun Run - Virtual 5K
The University's current COVID-19 precautions discourage outside visitors on campus. For the safety of students and the campus community, normal Families Weekend activities will not be held this year. Instead, the Parents and Families Association is hosting a Family Fun Run Virtual 5K from October 16 to October 25.

Between October 16 and October 25, USI Parents and Families Association invites students, family members, employees, alumni and friends of USI to run or walk a 5k (3.1 miles. Register by October 1 to receive a free USI Fun Run T-shirt!
Don't forget to use #USIFunRun in your photos or videos on social media!

If you have questions, contact Alumni Relations and Volunteer USI at 812-464-1924 or parentsfamilies@usi.edu.
Sexual Assault Prevention and Alcohol Education Training
Completing Sexual Assault Prevention and Alcohol Edu trainings are required for all first-year students. Your student should have received an email invitation in their USI Eagles email account last week.

Students can access the trainings by clicking on the link in the email invitation or by logging into myUSI account and clicking on the Everfi app, a giant white E in a field of orange (please see picture).

Students should complete the trainings prior to October 3, 2020. Completion of the trainings will ensure that a hold is not placed on to a student's account. Holds will prevent students from registering for Spring and Summer 2021 classes.
