Winter Bike to Work
(or Wherever) Day survey
Did you participate in Fort Collins' Winter Bike to Work (or Wherever) Day? Help us estimate event participation by completing our brief survey. Your feedback is critical to ensuring a fun, efficient experience during future events, and helps us make needed changes. Most importantly, your survey response helps us estimate just how many people traded four wheels for two last Friday, Feb. 11.

Visit our website at www.fcgov.com/BTWD before Friday afternoon, Feb. 18 to be entered to win some great prizes donated by Station Hosts.
Parking study volunteers needed
Every year FC Moves coordinates with the Streets Maintenance Program to add and improve bicycle facilities as part of resurfacing projects. This is a great, low-cost way to expand our bicycle network and implement our bicycle plan, and miles and miles of bike facilities have already been added through the Streets Maintenance Program! FC Moves is evaluating several corridors that will be repaved next year to determine whether some parking could be removed in order to add bike lanes or buffer existing bike lanes. We will be reaching out to residents and property owners for their input, but first we’ll evaluate parking utilization.

We’d love your help counting parked cars along these corridors during the week of Feb 21 – Feb 27. We have various timeframes and dates selected for you to count. For this project, you’ll arrive on the assigned corridor sometime in your selected time slot, count the number of vehicles parked in each block on each side of the street, and record the data on a data sheet. We expect it will take 15 to 30 minutes to complete. You don’t need to count for the full hour, just get a snapshot of each block sometime in the hour. To find out more information check out the listings in Engage below (you might have to sign in to your account), and after signing up to count you will receive an email from me with more detailed instructions.
NoCo Bike & Ped Collaborative

Pitkin Street improvements survey
Do you travel on E. Pitkin St.? We want to hear about your experience! The City will be restriping E. Pitkin St. to add advisory bike lanes from Remington St. to Smith St. in Spring 2022. The new striping plan is intended to improve safety for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, people using micromobility devices, and drivers.

Getting your feedback before and after the project will help us to evaluate the new roadway design. You can read more about the project on our website: https://www.fcgov.com/fcmoves/east-pitkin-street
