The special cookies for this coming Saturday’s market will be Frosted Sugar Cookies in pumpkin or turkey shapes. I will also have Pecan Pie Bars, what my son calls “pecan pie in a cookie” and very tasty!
Other cookies will be Chocolate Chip, Bill’s Nutty Chocolate Chip, Food for the Gods (and Goddesses!), Hannah’s Creamsicle, Oatmeal Raisin, Pumpkin Oatmeal, Snickerdoodles, Molasses Sugar, Toffee Bars, and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies.
Gluten free cookies will be Dark Chocolate Meringues, Peanut Butter Kisses and Vanilla Sticks.
Sweet breads scheduled are Cranberry Nut Bread, Pumpkin Spice Bread, Sour Cream Coffee Cake, and Morning Glory Muffins (regular or reduced sugar).
Yeast breads will include Egg Braids, Oatmeal Bread in two sizes (fabulous for those leftover turkey sandwiches!), Potato Rolls, and Cheese Bread Knots. You should be able to have a tempting basket of assorted breads for your turkey dinner! If you are interested in our directions for freezing breads & rolls, please ask for the handout.
