As you're developing materials, please remember that the following statement is required to be included on SCORE materials produced with program funds:

"Funded [in part] through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration." - standard statement for most materials

"Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.  All opinions, and/or recommendations expressed herein are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the SBA." - statement to be used on editorial content

For more information on when to use each statement, please visit our SCORE Brand Guidelines.  The definitions and explanations are outlined on page 15.

Vistaprint Ordering Update

We have recently been experiencing more issues than usual with the Vistaprint ordering portal while trying to order business cards and badges.  Going forward, we are suggesting using our provided business card templates and taking them to a local printer or uploading the artwork into the Office Depot online ordering site.

Diversity & Inclusion Highlight - Thrive Lowcountry Women's Conference

The third annual Thrive Lowcountry Women's Conference took place on September 26-27 at the Marriott Hilton Head Resort and Spa. The Thrive conference is considered the premier Lowcountry women's gathering focused on enhancing and empowering personal and professional growth.

This year's theme was " Achieving Results" with a goal to educate, empower and engage women of all ages in and around the Lowcountry to achieve their goals and realize results.  The Thrive event had 185 attendees, 16 sponsors and 30 speakers, including the luncheon keynote, SC Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette.

The Thrive Conference also included an Inaugural BizPitch competition - t en women presented their business plans to a panel of seven judges, comprised of representatives from the business community.  Three locally and women-owned businesses were each awarded a combined $8,500 in cash and  in-kind prizes to expand or start their businesses. The awards were all donated by SunTrust Bank, the cash sponsor for the event.

An attendee made the following comment after the event: "I feel like I found my tribe... the positivity (of Thrive) was amazing.  I feel so inspired as a result of the conference, so Thank You!"

Check out this story from WSAV3 (event media sponsor) highlighting the Thrive conference.

CORE Performance Measurement Survey
As we prepare to roll out SCORE Engage, we want to make sure we are meeting your needs with SCORE Engage as a Product. To do this, we need to benchmark customer satisfaction with CORE overall as well as for CORE's support of key business processes. This data will allow us, once users are on SCORE Engage, to evaluate and compare the two systems as a set of integrated tools supporting business processes.

The survey will only take about 5 minutes to complete.  Thank you for your feedback.
