One Heart. One Hope. One Mission.
MESSAGE FROM MISSION ADVANCEMENT
...Planting the seeds of the trees
under whose shade we will never sit...
Dear Friends,

This spring, we are excited to share our 2021 Impact Report for the California Region of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Through the power of God's grace, we are privileged to reveal God's goodness and provident care to those entrusted to us--in our prayer for all humankind, in schools, hospitals, religious education programs, social service ventures and so much more. We are taking this opportunity to thank and honor our donors of 2021 and celebrate a few tributes and milestones--follow this link to read it all. Special features include an update on the 2022 Nun Run and our message of gratitude to Patricia Margaret Kennedy for her generous, unrestricted bequest.

The seeds of faith and generosity that you plant, the saplings that you nurture, eventually provide a diverse landscape of hope. May each of you be blessed, knowing that you are providing refreshment for those in need--both now and in the years to come. Thank you for embracing our mission!

Blessings always,
Director of Mission Advancement Services
PRAYING FOR WORLD PEACE
...heeding the message of Our Lady of Fatima
For more than 100 years, Catholics have heeded the appeal of Our Lady of Fatima: to live according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to pray the Rosary. Mary indicated that Russia would be converted and there would be peace in the world. Perhaps there is no greater message for us at this time in history.

Students from La Reina High School & Middle School recently produced this video decade of the Rosary. Demonstrating their appreciation for our multi-cultural world, these languages were used: Hungarian, Spanish, Dutch, Icelandic, Chinese Mandarin, Armenian, Tagalog, French, German, Farsi, English and American Sign Language. May Mary, Queen of the Rosary and Queen of Peace, bless us with the peace which the world cannot give.

SND USA FACEBOOK Updates!

The Sisters of Notre Dame are excited to share changes within our social media platforms, a move which further demonstrates our ongoing national collaborative efforts.

Our Facebook presence was modified on April 18. The regional Facebook Pages were merged into one national Facebook Page, which can be found here. (Like and follow the page to stay up-to-date on all things SND if you haven’t already!) The focus of this Facebook Page will be national ministry office messaging, and national news and events. In a related effort, the SND Global Missions Facebook Page also merged at the same time.

To continue to share local communications, the Sisters of Notre Dame have created new Facebook Groups in order to connect at the regional levels, as well as the Global Missions Facebook Group for all things SND Global Missions.

We look forward to welcoming you to these Facebook Groups!
