REQUIREMENT RE: PEAD FORMS
At the end of this morning's session, a question was asked of what is required with regard to the distribution of the PEAD forms. This is address on the C.A.R. FAQ.
MetroList has reconfirmed that their service is merely a providing a publishing service vehicle for the agents to market their their listings and, along with that, allow the agents to comply with CA law requiring PEAD forms to provided to prospective buyers agents by the listing agent. Listing agents can place the PEAD form in the associated docs and reference it in the "Confidential Remarks" section. The buyer's agents are required by CA Law to furnish the Listing agents with the PEAD-V form for their respective showings and can do so by electronically furnishing those forms to each listing agent whose listed properties are being shown.
In summary, MetroList, as a multiple listing service, is not requiring nor asking for any PEAD forms to be sent to their offices.
MANY THANKS TO MORGAN GILBERT FOR HER DEDICATED AND AMAZING SERVICE TO OUR ORGANIZATION
We are sad to see Morgan leave our association yet wish her all the best in her new endeavors and life with family back in Newport, Oregon...a dream of hers for many years is now coming to fruition. She will truly be missed by all. During the transition, she will continue to service our organization remotely.
FAREWELL WORDS FROM MORGAN
I am excited to share that I am embarking on a new journey in my life, a thirty year dream in the making! My family and I will be moving to Newport, Oregon and starting our new life by the ocean! On the other hand, its also a bit sad knowing I will be leaving behind one of the best experiences I have been a part of and that is working for the Nevada County Association of REALTORS. Kathy and Patty have been a lot of fun to work with, running the weekly marketing meetings has been a blast not to mention the comedy and technical issues and I loved having a voice on the Education Committee. The best part of this job is how positive NCAOR members are to work with. You don’t find that in every job, and I have to say our members are the best and I loved to help as it was usually a lot of fun!
