2020-2021 Musical Theater Class
Try-outs for possible placement in next year's 
2020-2021 Musical Theater class will be held 
on  Tuesday, February 4th at 3:00 p.m. in the Chorus Room. 

Please prepare to sing a 1 minute excerpt from a song of your choice that highlights your vocal and acting strengths.  You will also be taught a dance routine for the dance portion of the audition. You must provide and bring an accompaniment sound file or CD.
A sign-up sheet has been placed outside 
of Mr. Hernandez and Ms. Spires' doors on the main campus. 
Audition to join the fun adventure of acting, singing and dancing!!

Congratulations to Grant Pixley and Katie Thomason on being selected
to become members of the 2019-2020 GMEA All-State Honor Band!

7 MP band students recently participated in the 70th annual 
JanFest Band Festival and Clinic hosted by the University of Georgia.  
Those who participated were: Katie Thomason, GraceAnne Pixley, Grant Pixley, Hunter Toler, Charlotte Wilcox, Celeste Taylor, and Elizabeth Bennett
The Jazz Ensembles of MP will combine with Eclectic Jazz, a local 
community jazz ensemble, to perform a Valentine's Date Night concert 
on Thursday, February 13th. The performance will take place in the 
Board of Education Auditorium starting at 6:30. 
Donations to the band program are encouraged for entry, but not required.
