Council Urges Senate to Support USMCA, Lauds Passage
|
On December 14, 2020, the Council sent a letter to all members of the region's Senate delegation urging them to vote to approve the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). On January 16, the Senate voted 89-10 to approve the agreement. This follows the House's passage of legislation to implement the deal in December, and President Trump signed the bill on January
