Message from your Pastor
Starting November 2nd, daily Mass will be celebrated on Mondays at 9:00 AM and Thursdays at 6:30 PM in the main church.

Since Sunday Mass is limited and you would like to attend more often, consider coming to daily Mass.  If you are more comfortable in a smaller gathering during this pandemic, come to daily Mass rather than the larger Sunday celebration.  If you want to foster your devotion to the Eucharist, especially during this “Year of the Eucharist”, come to daily Mass.

Thanks you to our parish volunteers who make this possible.

Reservations can be made on line or by calling the parish office Monday through Thursday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM

It’s Done!

I have completed my radiation treatments for prostate cancer.  With the support of your prayers, I have done very well.  Doctors say that within two to four weeks my energy levels should be back to normal. In a month’s time, follow-up tests will let us know if the cancer has been conquered. Until then I am supposed to let the normal cells recover from the radiation through healthy diet, good hydration, exercise, rest and reduction of stress.  Actually, that is good advice to all of us.   I would also add prayer to that list.  Let’s all take good care of ourselves.

A note from your Parish Administrator
Parish Stewardship

Our annual Stewardship Pledge Drive has begun! Each year we ask our parishioners to help us plan for the parish by pledging an amount they will give in their Sunday contributions throughout the year. You can pledge to give weekly, monthly or annually. Most pledge weekly or monthly. Your Sunday contributions make up 90% of the operating budget of our parish, and so your pledges are really the life blood of our parish community. But more importantly, stewardship is a movement of the heart towards God, in thanksgiving for all the gifts He has given to us. This week at Mass we will hear from a young parishioner who has been contributing to the parish since he was a young boy, and he will share how stewardship has been a way of life in his family.

Stewardship pledge cards were sent in the mail to all parishioners this week. You can mail your card back to the parish in the postage paid envelope, or bring it to Mass if you are attending in person. We will also have pledge cards available at Masses for the next three weeks.

Justin Ryan in the Office of Vocations at justin.ryan@seattlearch.org or 206-507-4476. Visit us at www.seattlevocations.com for more information, or on social media @seattlevocations.
Providing as safe an environment as we can

Part of our safety protocols for gathering in the church for Mass is to provide as much fresh air as possible.  We have adjusted our air system to provide as much ventilation as possible and we open the west doors as Mass begins.  We will continue to open the doors even as the weather gets colder. Please come to church prepared for it to be cooler.   It is part of our safety protocols.
St. Vincent's is offering another Safe Environment Class. This class will be held via Zoom.

When: November 16th
Time: 6:30 pm
Place: Zoom

Please register for this event at https://virtusonline.org/.
