Weekly Update
December 2, 2020
From the President
Dear BBHS Families,

This week we enter the season of Advent - a time of waiting - a time of moving through darkness to light. I want to share with you a video message from Archbishop Etienne, marking this season of Advent with his challenge to “keep hope alive” in very trying times for us all.

Next Tuesday, December 8, we will celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception with a liturgy livestreamed to our school community from St. Bridget Parish. I encourage you to join us in prayer through this mass; you can find the livestream link below in the Campus Ministry section of this update.

May we all journey through this season of Advent with hope alive in our hearts.

Blessings,

Tony DeSapio
President
From the Principal
Dear Families,

The BBHS Forefront Suicide Prevention Team is hosting an important evening of learning, discussion, and reflection tomorrow, Thursday, December 3 from 7-8:30 p.m.

Developed by Forefront Suicide Prevention at the University of Washington, the LEARN Saves Lives training is designed to help parents and guardians recognize and respond when teens, friends, or loved ones are having thoughts of suicide. We hope you will join us as we discuss this difficult but very important topic. To learn more and register, see the Social Emotional Health section of this update below.

Sincerely,
