Campfire Coffee Fundraiser
We're excited to announce that we've partnered with Campfire Coffee for a fundraiser to support our STEM to Stern program! Please see the website HERE to support. Half of the money raised from purchasing this coffee goes directly to our efforts to make our club more accessible, diverse, and competitive.

NOTE: To wave the shipping fee you can choose pick up at campfire coffee and your order will be sent to PNRA/Mercer for pick up

About the cause: The Princeton University Rowing Teams and the Princeton National Rowing Association have teamed up to create our STEM to Stern Program targeting underserved students in the greater Trenton NJ area. STEM to Stern addresses major barriers to participation in rowing and STEM education that many students in these communities face. Our program provides necessary support to increase equity in rowing and education, creating life-changing experiences and bringing students from all backgrounds together.

Please support and please share with your friends/network!

SafeSport
We have all heard the term “SafeSport” but what is it?  SafeSport encompasses the activities to create an environment free of abuse and harassment where all participants can realize their potential in sport. It entails everything from background checks in hiring, SafeSport training and including SafeSport considerations in all of our policies and programs. For PNRA this is an important part of our mission (PNRA’s SafeSport Policy).

Here in the USA, the U.S. Center for SafeSport is responsible for ensuring that the USOPC and all national governing bodies (NGBs) are following SafeSport best practices. USRowing is the NGB for Rowing and as a member of USRowing PNRA also falls under the Center for SafeSport umbrella.

For at least the past 8 years all PNRA staff, coaches and trip chaperones have had to complete SafeSport Training administered by the Center for SafeSport. This has now been extended to all members of USRowing who are at least 18 years of age. The adult athlete training modules can be found through the USRowing membership portal.

The Center for SafeSport has recently introduced online courses for Parents of Minors involved in sports and also for minors. These completely optional courses are provided at no charge by the Center. Please use this link to learn more.

For more information on PNRA’s SafeSport policies, please contact krisgrudt@rowpnra.org.
