Sorrowful Heart of Mary SSPX-MC

Dear Troops of Our Lady,

It is winter. As the cold of Modernism and apostasy gain ground in this post-Vatican II deep freeze, the place of warmth and refuge will not be found in the noisy halls of the hotels of Bethlehem nor the elaborate banquets of the materialistic minded, but where the Christ Child shines in the manger. There is the burning “focus.” “Focus” in Latin, means “fireplace” or “hearth.” The focus of the families in winter for our ancestors was always the burning fireplace.

The fireplace, the “focus” of souls in this cold winter of Modernism is the burning Sacred Heart of Jesus, surrounded by the luminous Hearts of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Virginal Father of Christ, St. Joseph! It is there all light and warmth shines! It is there we find all truth and all answers! With the abolishing of Christ’s social Reign comes the coldness and mechanization of life. “And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold” (St. Matthew 24:12).

What could be more stone-hearted and ruthless than an age where the medical field will coax young mothers to terminate a pregnancy of a baby girl if the couple planned on a boy? Or gather to witness the calculated murder of an aged parent under the guise of “comfort care?”

When Christ’s Kingship is excluded from the laws of a country and the Church hierarchy disoriented by Modernism, Vatican II, and the New Mass, it necessarily means the reign of decadence, disorder, darkness, savagery, cruelty, selfishness, anarchy, and the damnation of innumerable souls!

In the silent adoration of the Cave of Bethlehem let us join the Shepherds and Angels around the three greatest Hearts, to beg the love of Truth Incarnate, who points to His Mother as our refuge in this freezing winter! Crown Her daily with the roses of Her five decades (at least). She will reignite the world again through those Hearts around the Manger. She promised this at Fatima!

Every fire burns on fuel. Our Lord desires the repeated practice of Spiritual Communions. What is this? It is simply expressing to Our Lord the desire to receive Him in Holy Communion, to be enkindled in the fire of His charity. St. Leonard of Port Maurice (1676-1751 A.D.) said, “If you practice the holy exercise of Spiritual Communion a good many times each day, within a month you will see yourself completely changed.”

Our Lord said to Sr. Benigna Consolata, who died in 1916, “Cry aloud in order to be heard by the whole world that I hunger, I thirst, I die of longing to be received by My creatures and they make so little of it. O, do you at least make as many Spiritual Communions as possible to supply for the sacramental Communions which others do not make. Make them even more frequently than every quarter of an hour. Make them in a variety of ways. Make them short, provided that you make them!”

Merry Christmas to all of you!

In Christ the King,
Fr. David Hewko
