At the end of the year, it’s good to take stock. We took a look at all of our customer activities and noted the wide variety of services we’ve performed in the last year. You might be surprised to learn about some of things we’ve done. We categorize our engagements by Advisory work, Business Intelligence/Analytics, and Education.

Monthly Fixed Ops Maintenance: Quarterly on-site intervention and implementation of best practices combined with remote accountability check-ins and analytics.

Parts Discovery: Working with Parts leadership team to lead them through a self-diagnosis of operations and performance gap analysis.

Parts Fill Rate: Development and implementation of processes and practices to increase first time off the shelf fill rate while not growing inventory value.

Parts Intervention: Developing and implementing best practices regarding Inventory Management and performance, marketing, product penetration and pricing.

Parts Physical Inventory Oversight: Oversee and manage the annual physical inventory, ensure that proper DMS routines and accounting procedures are performed, perform reconciliation between GL and Physical values.

Parts Reconciliation/Variance Investigation: Investigating and identifying potential causes and solutions of variance between physical and general ledger values.

Sales Process Assessment: KEA observations and analysis on sales operations to identify performance gaps.

Service Assessment: KEA observations and analysis on service operations to identify performance gaps.

Service Discovery: Working with Service leadership team to lead them through a self-diagnosis of operations and performance gap analysis.

Service Intervention: Developing and implementing best practices regarding Service SOP, Hours & Rate, Technician Performance, Throughput, Warranty Processing, Staffing.

Service Maintenance: Quarterly on-site intervention and implementation of best practices combined with remote accountability check-ins and analytics.

Strategy & Accounting Tier 1: Developing and implementing best practices regarding Dealership Strategy, Accounting practices and processes, reporting.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & ANALYTICS

Cash Flow Forecasting: Creating a cash flow model.

Compensation Study: Survey by position of compensation, benefits, etc.

Monthly Financial Statement & Performance Review: Monthly reporting with directional trending toward goals.

Parts Analytics: Monthly metric review against parts benchmarks.

Performance Benchmarking: Comparing performance vs KEA best practices and performance.

Service Analytics: Monthly metric review against service benchmarks.

Throughput Analysis: Statistical Analysis of service department repair throughput (cycle, dwell, lag time).
