Greetings!

Below is our member update for the week beginning Monday, October 12th!

BIG NEWS! The Locker Room and Hot Tubs will open Monday, October 12th. Hot Tubs will be booked in 30 minute increments and one person per reservation slot (ex: a couple must reserve two slots). In addition, lap lanes can now accommodate up to two people from different households. Beginning the week of October 19th, Lanes 2, 3, and 4 in the outdoor pool and Lane 4 in the indoor pool will allow for lane sharing. If reserving a lane as a couple or family, it will be necessary to reserve both slots when using one of these lanes. If you prefer to swim alone, please reserve an alternate lane.

BIG CHANGES! We are listening and adjusting. As we navigate this new system for reservations/scheduling we have made some changes that will be effective immediately. We have changed our late cancel from a 24-hour window to 3 hours prior to class/appointment. We understand that schedules change, that you need added flexibility right now, and we want to encourage members to come that are feeling their best. Three hours will provide enough time to allow the waitlisted participant to take your spot, should you need to cancel. Please be courteous to your fellow members and release your reservation as soon as possible.

Mindbody Maintenance: Mindbody reservations will be down from 3pm Friday - 8am Saturday while we input the upcoming schedule. If you would like to make a reservation inside this window you will need to call the club as prompted where it normally allows a booking.

Expanded Format: More time and less restriction! Reservations for the 'Fitness Center' (Cardio, Free and Machine Weights) are for 1.5 hours and movement between the spaces is not restricted.

Wait List: If your class time is full, we highly encourage you to utilize the wait list. Many members find that their schedule changes throughout the week, which means many more members are having good luck getting into classes that initially appeared full!

Kid's Club Survey: We would like your feedback if you are a Kid's Club user to help us determine the viability of opening during this current phase. If you haven't taken our Kid's Club survey, please click this link. The survey will take approximately 3-5 minutes.

Club Hours: Mon-Thur: 5a-7:30p
Fri: 5a-6p
Sat/Sun: 7a-12p

Reminders: Face coverings are required at all times when not actively exercising. Towel service, steam room and sauna are not permitted during this phase. Finally, dues have billed at 50% for the month of October and full dues will be charged in November

We will continue to monitor usage patterns and make adjustments to improve your experience as quickly as we can. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this process!

In Good Health,

It has been more than six months since COVID rocked the health and fitness industry, and we have a long road to recovery ahead.

Previous relief packages passed in Washington provided some assistance, but the relief was not available to all clubs, and what was, was not nearly enough for these businesses to survive.

Designed to address the health and fitness industry’s unique and pressing needs, the Health & Fitness Recovery Act will create a $30 billion grant program to provide direct assistance to America’s health and fitness clubs.

Safety Precautions
The health and safety of our staff and returning members
is our top priority. Here are some things to expect when returning to the limited programming.
  • Stay at Home: If you have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the club until you’re symptom-free and fever-free for three days. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to the club for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19. If you feel unwell or have any concerns about coming into the club, please stay home and stay safe.
  • Physical Distancing: Practice physical distancing of 6 feet between you and other CBRC Members and Staff.  Ultimately this will minimize the spread of germs.
  • Face Coverings: Members are required to wear face coverings in the club when not actively engaged in exercise. This includes when you enter or exit the club, when you interact with others, and when you are walking about the club. When exercising, members are encouraged to wear face coverings if able to do so safely. If wearing a face covering safely is not possible, members should increase the distance between themselves and other members as much as possible. If you remove your mask to exercise, you must put it back on to walk anywhere in the club.
  • Hygiene: Upon arrival to CBRC you will be required to wash/sanitize your hands. You are also required to wash/sanitize before you begin your exercise.
  • Keep it disinfected: Please wipe down touch points on equipment before and after use. Disinfecting spray bottles for personal use are available at the front desk and additional bottles will be available throughout the club.
  • Limit Contact: We’re encouraging members and team members to limit person-to-person contact, including hugs, high fives, and fist bumps. This is the perfect time to work on your air guitar celebration of reaching a goal.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Keeping everyone safe and healthy will be a team effort. We appreciate your willingness to adapt to these new measure to keep members and staff healthy and safe!
Get Familiar with our cleaning toolbox!
Reme Halo
In 2019 prior to the pandemic we installed Reme Halo technology in several of our HVAC units and will have an additional 11 units installed before you return leaving the air conditioned portion of the facility 80% covered. The air purification systems are designed to eliminate bacteria, viruses and other indoor pollutants through the use of hydroperoxides “Mother Nature’s enviro-friendly cleaning agent”. As supply chains are replenished and inventory is replaced we will complete the remainder of our HVAC units as soon as possible.

Clorox 360
We have also purchased the Clorox Total 360 system which uses electrostatic disinfection which is a way of quickly and evenly coating a surface with a disinfecting solution. This is done by using an electrostatic applicator that gives a negative charge to the disinfecting solution as it exits the nozzle. This allows for the disinfecting solution to reach all sides of the surface. The disinfection solution is proven
  • Kills 99.9% of bacteria in 5 seconds
  • 44 organism claims: Kills cold and flu viruses, MRSA and norovirus in 2 minutes or less
  • One-step disinfecting
  • Eliminates odors
  • Sanitizes soft surfaces
  • Inhibits the growth of mold and mildew for up to 7 days

We have also added standalone hand sanitizing stations throughout the club in high traffic/high touch areas.
We have been using Betco Quat-Stat which is an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommended and approved disinfectant for our fight against COVID-19.
NanoSeptic Continuously Self-Cleaning Surfaces turn dirty high traffic, public touch-points into continuously self-cleaning surfaces. Powered by light, NanoSeptic surfaces utilize mineral nano-crystals which create a powerful oxidation reaction. Working 24/7, the surface continually oxidizes organic contaminants. Unlike traditional disinfectants and cleaners, the NanoSeptic surface uses no poisons, heavy metals or chemicals, and nothing is released from the surface since the nano-crystals are molecularly bonded to the material.
