SMART BIKE COMPETITION
DASH is offering BC schools the chance to win up to 25 brand new SMART bikes (valued at approximately $900/bike including software) to help support the physical and mental well-being of their students.

SMART bikes fit children 125cm or taller (about 8-9 years old). They require a desk that is minimum 80cm high.

Please note schools must pay for shipping of bikes.

HEALTHY SCHOOL COMMUNITY CERTIFICATION - YEAR 2
DASH’s Healthy School Communities Certification (HSCC) pilot program is back for year 2!

HSCC supports and increases the capacity of schools to address a priority health topic. HSCC recognizes and celebrates school communities for promoting and enhancing the health and well-being of students, school staff, and the broader community.  

Registration opens October 13, 2020.

They discuss the impact that COVID-19 has had on student and staff well-being in schools across BC. Faye speaks to how DASH has responded to the emerging needs.

iPads Support Environmental Stewardship at Jessie Lee Elementary
Jessie Lee Elementary in Surrey, B. C., was one of five schools to win a set of 10 iPads through DASH’s iPad contest. They wanted to introduce students to environmental stewardship opportunities, and decided to create a native plant pollinator garden for students to care for and learn from.
