A holiday message from the President and CEO
The holidays are a time to give thanks and also reflect on the year that is finishing. This year we are sharing some of the feedback we have received from patients, families and caregivers.

Thank you to all those at the organization for the excellence with which they treat everyone who comes to North York General. We wish everyone happy holidays and nothing but health for the year ahead.

Ervin Sejdić: New Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence for Health Outcomes

Dr. Dana Mayer , a Family Physician at North York General Hospital's Department of Family and Community Medicine, offers her insight on cold sores.

Health care options over the holidays
The best course of action to prevent the flu is to get your annual flu vaccine.
No one wants to get sick or injured over the holidays, but if you do, it's important to remember you have many health care options across the local health care system.

While emergency departments operate 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, a hospital visit is not always the most appropriate place for treatment if you are sick.
