Dear Kindergarten Families,
We are thrilled to announce that our kindergarten and preschool programs in District 67 are partnering with The Alliance for Early Childhood to bring more resources and focus on early childhood to the district. Our mission in District 67 is to empower students and help students develop a better sense of self, and we are looking forward to collaborating with The Alliance for Early Childhood to better support students, staff, and families.
The Alliance for Early Childhood has been around for many years with a focus on building a strong developmental foundation during the early years of learning. The Alliance is a collaborative, community organization that supports and guides families and educators to nurture the healthy, well-rounded development of children from birth to eight years old.

Through our partnership with The Alliance for Early Childhood Education, we are looking forward to the following opportunities this year:
- Increased professional development and learning for our staff
- Networking and programming for families
- Research-based articles and speakers for families and staff
Finally, I wanted to share that twice a year, the Alliance publishes a newsletter that is shared with our families. Due to Covid-19, the newsletter is online and not printed this year: The Alliance's Fall/Winter 2020 Newsletter. In this issue, you will find several articles about parenting and school during a pandemic that I hope you find useful during this unique time.
I am beyond excited about our new partnership with The Alliance for Early Childhood partnership and our commitment to prioritizing our youngest learners. I have no doubt that this partnership will enhance our ability to best support students, families, and teachers.
