Happy Tails
HSLM receives wonderful, heartwarming updates from the individuals and families who adopt shelter pets. We love sharing these recent happy tails with you!
"Theodore has been such a good boy at the shop, with new people, and at home. He is such a gentle and sweet pup. I get so many compliments from strangers on our walks and from all my friends. He is so smart. Our first week has been fantastic. Thank you again. He literally comes home and falls asleep when we're done work. My bosses adore him and he is becoming quite the favorite around my workplace."  -Theodore's adopter
"Charlie and Lilah (formerly Chonk and Cupid) have settled in very nicely. They both love catnip toys and being brushed daily. They enjoy watching any birds that land on my balcony. Charlie is quick to greet me at the door when I get home from work, he can’t wait for some pets! Lilah is usually too lazy to get out of my bed to greet me. They are a wonderful, sweet pair. Thanks again! I’m enjoying every moment getting to know their purrsonalities!"

Hopeful Friends
Most shelter pets are adopted within a short timeframe.
However, sometimes it takes a little longer to find the right fit. Meet three pets who are looking for their perfect match!
Frosty
Although my name is Frosty, I'm actually a very sweet and social rabbit! In fact, unlike some rabbits, I very much enjoy being held and snuggled. When I'm not able to cuddle with friendly humans, I enjoy exploring my surroundings and snacking on fresh veggies.

I am a dwarf rabbit which means I am quite small. I only weigh 3 lbs and will not grow any bigger, as at 3 years old I am full-grown. I am already spayed, which will help me to live a longer and healthier life.
Fluffy
Since you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend - and hey, so am I! My name is Fluffy and I am a spayed, 4-year-old American Sable/Netherland Dwarf mix, gal.

People tell me I'm a lot like this cartoon bunny named Thumper from a movie called Bambi. I don't watch movies, so I have no idea, but they say that because I'm affectionate, playful and laid-back, I remind them of him.
Bun Bun
I am a 5-year-old Holland Lop fellow who is looking for my next adventure. Although I have been described as being slightly on the independent side, I enjoy making new friends who will play and share treats with me.

Did you know that with the proper care, rabbits can live 8-12 years? HSLM has already provided me with my neuter surgery, so I look forward to spending many years with my forever family.
