The 2020 DCASE Individual Artists Program (IAP) grant application deadline is December 5 at 5:00pm CST.  
 
The Individual Artists Program aims to assist Chicago's practicing artists in creating work that develops their craft and elevates their careers, while adding to the cultural vitality of the city of Chicago.  
 
Project-based grants will be made to resident Chicago artists over the age of 18 across all artistic disciplines including Film & Media Arts, Literary Arts, Performing Arts (Theatre/Dance), Music and Visual Arts/Design.

All applicants are encouraged to attend an Application Assistance Workshop. The remaining free workshop schedule is as follows:

Workshops will review updates to grant guidelines and eligibility requirements, review criteria and provide guidance to help applicants prepare the strongest, most competitive applications.  
 
The DCASE Individual Artists Program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency, through federal funds provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
