Introducing Our New Form Collection Tool

We have completed our integration with the PowerSchool E-Collect system to streamline form collection throughout the school year. Parents are able to update contact and demographic information anytime during the school year right from your PowerSchool Parent Portal! Other forms such as the Athletic Activity Registration Forms and the Back to School Form will be accessible from the Forms Tab.

For more information, please view the video tutorial included today or review this informational document.

Nurse's Notes

Vision and Hearing Screenings
Freshman and juniors are due for vision/hearing screenings this year. Our screening capabilities are limited this year due to the pandemic. Please consult with your health care provider to schedule screenings and turn your results into the nurse.

Remember to get your flu shot!
Columbus Public Health has flu shot clinics at no cost, see link below for locations and times:

Contact the School Nurse, Kelli Fitzpatrick, to report an illness at (614) 267-7808 ext. 435 or email fitzpatrick@desales.co.
One Month Away!

Because of the current constrictions we face today for hosting large events, we know it is best to transition our Friends in the Courtyard Wine Tasting and Auction to a reality production experience that you can enjoy in your own home. The live streaming event will provide a relaxing – and safe – venue for you to learn about and taste fine wines. Plus you'll have the opportunity to sample some Carfagna’s specialties and bid online for a chance to win amazing auction items. Online bidding begins Thursday, November 5 at noon and is open until Saturday, November 7 at midnight. More details on how to register to come!

HOW CAN OUR CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAMS RAISE SOME FUNDS and SUPPORT THE EVENT? Donate silent auction baskets, live auction items, and participate in the event! Each co-curricular program will receive 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of live and silent auction items which were procured by that co-curricular program. Start getting organized now. Check out the website for items that sold well last year and a total of team proceeds from the 2019 event.

FRIENDS IN THE COURTYARD INCENTIVE TURN-IN DATES
For each basket/item turned in on or before the announced date, your program will be put in a drawing for a $250 grant. The first drawing was on Monday, September 28 and the Hockey program was the winner! The next incentive turn-in is on Monday, October 12. All items must be turned in by Wednesday, October 28. Anything donated after that will be used for our next fundraiser. For more information, click on this link: https://www.sfdstallions.org/friends-in-the-courtyard.

Spiritual Reflection
Lord, please help us to remember that the more we complain, the more we limit our ability to see the blessings in our lives. We also ask your blessing on all those whose labor enhances our quality of life. We recall with gratitude the many hundreds or thousands of people involved in the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the transportation we use, the roof over our heads. Our world is utterly filled with Marthas. Please, Jesus, bless them all, and bless their families. Amen.
