RPC Bridge Repair Work
to Continue
The Village has begun steps to repair damages and protect the covered bridge from any future incidents that could be caused by oversized vehicles. New wood siding has been ordered to replace the damaged panels, and steel trim will be installed underneath the cover to protect the panels once they are in place. New signage is also planned to improve the bridge’s visibility, and to provide more advanced warning to drivers approaching it. The bridge will be closed when this work commences, which is anticipated to be completed within the next couple of weeks, weather-permitting. Updates will be provided in future communications.
