We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and 2020 is off to a great start. It is hard to believe we are already a full month in to what we hope will be a phenomenal year for you and your family!

We are heading into our busy season, with the RRSP deadline fast approaching, and we know that winter can be a hectic time for many of you as well, with sports, outdoor fun and trips to the sunny south. If making, or topping up, a contribution to your RRSP is something you wish to do, or have questions around whether it would be beneficial for you, please connect with us soon.

2019 Year End Statements

Investment company statements are in the process of being mailed out and the number look great!

As a reminder, we no longer send out our 'blue' investment statements. You will receive a Portfolio Statement directly from Worldsource Financial, as well as a 'Performance and Annual Charges & Compensation Report' .

Please be sure to review these thoroughly (whether you receive by mail or email) and connect with us if you have any questions or concerns.

Online Access & Electronic Statements

Have you registered to be able to access your investment holdings online? If not, and you wish to do so, we can easily help! Just give us a call or email and we will start the process for you.

You can also request to receive your Worldsource Quarterly statements, confirms and tax slips (for any WFM Nominee plans) online as well if you wish to save on paper and have a secure digital filing system. Just let us know!

Coronavirus and the Markets

Market volatility has increased recently due to the fears around this fast spreading virus and the impact it may have on global activity. This is indeed a terrifying event that will have serious consequences for many.

As far as market instability goes however, we need to stay focused on our longer term goals and not short term events that should stabilize and not have a large scale impact on the global economy.
