Important Information

There is currently an e-mail scam that is going around nationwide Synagogues and we want to make sure you are aware of it, so you do not fall victim.

The scam is an e-mail coming from what looks to be like clergy from a Synagogue, asking for immediate assistance. The e-mail may have misspellings or grammatical mistakes. Please look for these clues. Please do not respond to this e-mail.

Here at Temple Emanu-El, you will continue to receive regular e-mail communications from our weekly e-mails, to staff e-mails. Our clergy will NEVER be reaching out to you directly to ask for any money or donations. If you ever have any questions about the authenticity of an e-mail or a request for money, please reach out to Temple Emanu-El Staff and we will gladly let you know if it is legitimate or not. You may call us at
408-292-0939 or e-mail us at admin@templesanjose.org with any questions.
