Apply now for the Small Business Grant Program!
The California Small Business (and Nonprofits!) Relief Grant program is designed to provide nonprofits with grants (not loans) to help cover operating costs during COVID. Applications will be open from Tuesday, February 2 at 9 am to Monday, February 8 at 4:59 pm. You can apply online through this link.

Thanks to advocacy by CalNonprofits and others, the California Small Business Grant program explicitly includes nonprofits as eligible grantees! CalNonprofits is partnering with the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) and the grant administrator Lendistry to provide grant program and application information to nonprofits across the state. 

Grants will range from $5,000 to $25,000 depending on the size of the organization. There are two rounds of grants totaling $237.5 million each (Round 1 is now closed). 

Watch out for scammers: information and support for this program are FREE! Do not pay for help completing or submitting this application.

"The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors…matched a $1 million commitment from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to help local businesses hit by the pandemic.

The matching grants bring the total pledged to more than $2.3 million to the new 'Restaurant, Brewery and Winery Relief Program'.

The applications period for grants of up to $10,000 will open as soon as mid-February."

How it works: Print them out and use household items as tokens, or save them as photos to your phone or tablet.
How to get them: When you register, let us know if you prefer a pdf card or digital card. Then let us know how many. We will email them to you the morning of the event.
 
A digital bingo card
How it works: These are digital, interactive cards, connected to the bingo service we use to conduct this event.
How to get them: An hour before the event starts, you will receive an email that includes the name of our game and a password, which will allow you to generate a digital card that can be played on any device.
