Outdoor Classrooms
"There is an urgent need to reimagine PreK-12 schools in order to safely reopen. Repurposing outdoor spaces is a cost-effective way to reduce the burden on indoor classrooms while providing fresh air, hands-on learning opportunities, and the health benefits associated with increased access to nature. Zero Waste Parties: Celebrate Sustainably
If holiday gathering with your pod, consider going zero-waste. Some favorites ideas are:
  1. If you need single-use plates or cups, skip the plastic and choose paper or other compostable materials. Check out these Made By Leaf bowls!
  2. Consider menu items that minimize waste.
  3. Those special cake pans or serving tools… instead of buying, try to borrow from a neighbor or friend. Less stuff to store, too.
  4. For the holidays, consider gifting experiences, or even consumables
