At QCC, student success is our #1 priority. QCC is YOUR school, YOUR experience, YOUR future, YOUR community. That’s why we are currently seeking students who want to share their story (and smiling face) to inspire others who are ready to make a change. Tell us who you are, why you chose QCC and why it’s the smarter choice for college. We want to hear YOUR QCC story so that we can share it with others.
When you join the QCC influencer program you will become a face of QCC, a leader, and motivator to help your classmates feel more connected to this diverse community of hard-working students. Share your QCC story with selfies, quotes, quick videos of what you’re doing, and how your QCC journey will better your life. We will share your submissions on our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram pages. You may also be featured in television and radio commercials on Hulu, Charter, Pandora and Spotify. Many of you will become a public face of Quinsigamond Community College.
Your story could be the spark that ignites change in someone else’s journey. The final push to stop thinking and start doing. Sounds good, right?

Halloween's origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1.
Today, Halloween is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31st. Some activities include Trick or Treating, costume parties, bonfires, visiting haunted houses and craving Jack -O'lanterns. Trick or Treating is an activity for children of all ages on Halloween, in which kids go from house to house in there cool Halloween costumes asking for treats such as candy bars.
The question “Trick or Treat” is a phrase used to play a trick on homeowners if they don’t give you a treat. Trick or Treating is one of the main traditions of Halloween and has become more socially accepted if one lives in a neighborhood with children. He/ she should purchase treats in the preparation for the big night of Trick or Treating.
I would like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween!

QCC has put together a website dedicated to encouraging our constituents to vote for our next national elections. We are doing this because today, more than ever, we want to emphasize how this election can be shifted by our ideals of equity, participation and our understanding of democracy. QCC as Worcester’s community college wants to make sure all voices count during this coming election.
Here is the link with some great videos of our students, and additional voting resources and information https://www.qcc.edu/vote.
