When OML met with legislative leaders and staff on the Grocery Sales Tax Exemption, the overwhelming consensus was to limit the state portion while protecting the municipal sales tax collections.
On Tuesday, the Elections Committee will hear two bills that will drastically limit municipal abilities to conduct special municipal elections. Those bills are HB3234 and HB3236. Bill descriptions can be found on page 10.
