DHS Earthworks Introduces Mask Recycling Program
|
DHS Earthworks has established a mask recycling program in partnership with Lifecycle Revive Canada. Students, staff, and families are encouraged to recycle their masks in the designated bins in the front, back, and athletic entrances.
Thank you to Sydney Vernier for her work to bring this program to DHS, which will help to fight mask pollution.

Model United Nations-University of Chicago (MUNUC)
|
|
Over 900 students from across the United States met virtually from February 3rd through February 6th to compete in the 34th Annual University of Chicago MUNUC conference (Model United Nations). This conference combines standard Model UN committee meetings with continuing crises in historical and imaginary committees. Deerfield delegates represented nineteen different committees.
Deerfield’s team did exceptionally well at the conference, earning numerous delegation awards, as well as being honored as the Outstanding Large Delegation for the entire conference.

DHS Athletic Booster Club Seeks Volunteers for 2022/2023 School Year
|
The DHS Athletic Booster Club is looking to fill the position of our Membership Chair for the 2022/2023 School Year. In addition, we are looking for a Co-Chair for Warrior Wear (Spirit Wear) and a Co-Chair for Advertising for the 2022/2023 School Year. In addition, we are always looking for Sports Representatives for Fall, Winter, and Spring Seasons. This is a fantastic way to support your student-athlete at DHS!

DHS PTO College Scholarship Fund Accepting Donations
|
For more than 40 years, The Deerfield High School PTO has sponsored an annual college scholarship fund to benefit deserving Deerfield High School seniors. With the rising cost of a college education and the continuing economic strain on many families, especially over the last couple of years, a college degree might be out of financial reach for some of our students.
Please consider making a gift of ANY AMOUNT by March 4th. See the PTO letter linked below for more details about how to contribute to this important fund.

Each year, the Illinois State Board of Education gathers data related to five indicators that can predict important student outcomes. This is an opportunity for parents and guardians to share their thoughts. Your identity and responses are anonymous. The deadline to complete the survey is March 11. Click the link below, then select "Start Here" under the Parent Survey column on the right side. Type in the required information to begin the survey. Complete only one survey per household.
