This NOW VIRTUAL series, led by consultant Shannon Harken, provides educators with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to address a variety of students’ needs in reading. Sessions cover Reading Foundations, Assessment, and Intervention.

Leading Implementation of Systemic Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
Supports district, and in some instances, school building leadership teams, in creating the conditions for optimizing social-emotional learning through application of the NDMTSS Essential Components and continuous improvement.
Investigation of the four approaches to SEL, evidence-based programs and practices supporting SEL,and translating current educational research to practice in an attempt to impact outcomes for all students.
Leadership Teams will:

- Behavior Intervention Planning Processes
Understand additional interventions that enhance FBA/BIPs and include systems level thinking; Analyze the impact of implementing class-wide behavior supports; Apply a minimum of one additional intervention in a classroom setting.
PTR Foundations Learning Series

Foundations (lead teachers, special education staff): Understand the Prevent, Teach, Reinforce framework; Analyze a behavior intervention process; Apply the 4-step process for reducing behavior problems.

Boosters: ongoing implementation support with intention to increase knowledge and skills to implement the PTR process

Modeling: (educators who are, or intend to be, PTR Coaches) Understand the role of the coach in the PTR process; Analyze methods of reaching team consensus; Apply the process with teams.
