PEDC Launches New Website

The Pasadena Economic Development Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of its new and redesigned website, www.PasadenaEDC.com. The new website has been designed to offer the ultimate user-friendly experience with improved navigation and functionality while allowing visitors to search for resources and information.

SizeUp Pasadena

PEDC is excited to launch SizeUp Pasadena a business intelligence tool to help your business make smarter/data-driven decisions. SizeUp Pasadena is a FREE tool that may be used by any Pasadena business. Stay tuned to our social media channels for information on an upcoming and FREE webinar to learn more about the benefits of the SizeUp tool.


"Revival" Mural Project

The murals project is part of a comprehensive revitalization effort from PEDC. The project not only serves to enhance the visual appeal of the City and build a community identity but creates vibrancy and attracts visitors to the Shaw area north of HWY 225.

Work on the murals began in early spring of 2021 and is expected to be
complete by late fall. The project will feature a total of 7 murals.


Google Workshop: Sell Online with E-Commerce Tools

PEDC is excited to partner with the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce on this FREE and exciting event for business owners. Join us on August 31st at 11:30 AM to hear from Google experts on the ways that you can sell your products online.


RECENT LOCAL & INDUSTRY NEWS
Stream Realty Partners (Stream), a national real estate services, development, and investment company, announced the execution of a 353,600-square-foot lease on behalf of Principal Real Estate Investors at Bay Area Business Park located at 9431 Bay Area Boulevard. The tenant, Custom Goods, will occupy the entirety of the building, which is part of the 3.3 million-square-foot, 232-acre master-planned development in Houston’s Southeast/Port submarket. Owned by Principal Real Estate Investors, Bay Area Business Park is one of the largest, single-owner business parks in the area.

UPDATE ON CURRENT INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS




Richey Road - Phase 2
Investment: $2 million
Coverage: ~ 0.5 mile (Southmore - South Houston Road)
Update: Engineering is currently underway. The project will go out for bid in late fall and construction will take place in the winter. The expected completion date is early 2022.


Shaw Avenue
Investment: $2.8 million
Coverage: Carl Street to McMasters Avenue
Update: Construction is currently in progress. Roadway & drainage are expected to be completed by the end of Q3 2021.
