WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
March 8, 2022
Superintendent Dr. Joshua Medeiros and Deputy Superintendent Sarah Larson reviewed the latest round of community feedback on the Page Park Revitalization Plan last week. Final plans are expected to include pedestrian accessible travel ways, upgraded play areas, new sport courts, and increased parking.
The Parks, Grounds, & Facilities crew wasted no time during the latest bouts of warm weather. The crew has been working to clean up dead tree limbs and downed trees. The task comes as a training opportunity in forestry, hazardous tree identification, and tree handling demonstrations.
Participants in Adult Co-Ed Pickleball will be moving outdoors to Page Park for their spring session beginning in April. The popularity of Pickleball is at all time high and Bristol is no exception. With pickleball programs full to capacity, the park revitalization plans hope to increase access with additional courts.
