Sea Pines CSA & The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation Announces New Committee
|
|
The Sea Pines Forest Preserve is one of the most significant amenities available to our property owners and guests in our community. The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation is responsible for the management and oversight of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. To assist the Foundation's Board of Trustees and Sea Pines CSA in their responsibilities, we are creating a new committee of property owners that will provide advice on matters concerning and expanding on the use, maintenance and potential improvements to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.
If you are interested in serving on this new Committee, you may apply by completing an application which can be found here. Please submit your committee volunteer application via email to sandra@csaseapines.com or deliver/mail it to Community Services Associates, Inc. 175 Greenwood Dr. Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 by February 10, 2021.

Pet owners are asked to be courteous and follow pet regulations/leash laws:
- Dogs must be restrained by a leash or fencing at all times (except when the no leash policy is permitted on the beach) and not allowed to bark for any duration that would disturb others.
- Pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed of in trash receptacles.

Sea Pines CSA Relative & Commercial 2021 Annual Decals Due by 2/1/2021
ATTENTION: PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A DECAL RENEWAL APPLICATION IF YOU ARE A PROPERTY OWNER. THE BELOW MESSAGE APPLIES TO ANNUAL PASS DECALS, ONLY.
The Sea Pines CSA Office is accepting annual pass decal applications for 2021. To apply for Sea Pines Annual Passes please visit www.seapinesliving.com/request. The CSA Office Administration is open by appointment only. Staff will notify each business/individual via phone when the 2021 decal(s) are ready for pickup. Due to high demand, please allow 3-5 business days for staff to get in touch to schedule your pickup appointment.

North Sea Pines Drive Improvement Project
Phase 1 includes stormwater repairs, leisure trail reconstruction, roadway realignment, tree work, and restriping of the roadway between Lighthouse Road and Red Cardinal Road. (Pictured: Sea Pines CSA Contractor Surveying For Leisure Trail Layout)
- Tree work, storm drainage repairs, and road reconstruction are in progress. Flag persons will be present to control traffic, as needed.
- Work will be performed Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Weekend work may be necessary but will be communicated in advance.
- Motorists should expect traffic delays. The project area is considered an active work zone. Please use caution while driving in this area. To avoid the project area, please use the main gate located on Greenwood Drive.
- Signage will be placed throughout the work zones and at various locations within the community, to communicate project messages.
- Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage and devices.
- Phase 1 construction is anticipated to be completed by Spring 2021.
Sea Pines CSA to Conduct Storm Water Ditch Cleaning throughout the community. Work to begin 1st week in February
Did you know that Sea Pines CSA is responsible for the master drainage system within Sea Pines? The master drainage system with the community is made up of over 40 control structures, 36 miles of piping and over six miles of storm water ditches which are integral to the stormwater management within Sea Pines.
To ensure our drainage system can function optimally, it is imperative that we keep our ditches properly maintained. Sea Pines CSA has selected a contractor that will be conducting ditch clean out and grading of approximately 3 miles of ditches and drainage pipe ends within Sea Pines over the next 8 months.
Ditch clean out work will begin along Baynard Cove Road and portions of Governors Road the week 1st week in February, weather permitting. Intermittent road closures or detours may be necessary, and flagmen will be present to assist with traffic flow. Drivers should use caution in these designated work zones.

Thank you to all property owners that have remitted their 2021 Annual Assessments on time. Please note that if you have not remitted payment by January 11, 2021, you are subject to late fees as well as finance charges on your outstanding balance. Payment plans are no longer available. If you have any questions or need additional information please contact Tracey McNeill at Traceym@csaseapines.com
When paying your assessment please note, that due to COVID-19, the CSA Administration Office remains open by appointment only. You may drop off a check with our receptionist, but we are unable to accept credit card payments in person. Due to the high volume of calls, the most expeditious way to pay your bill is to send a check to the lockbox address (CSA, INC. P O BOX 628207 ORLANDO, FL 32862-8207) or the CSA office (175 Greenwood Drive, HHI, SC 29928), or use the online portal to pay with a credit, debit card or e-check. A Deep WelSeal Donation Drop-off event has been scheduled at the Sea Pines Community Center Parking Lot (71 Lighthouse Rd. Suite #120) on Thursday, February 4th from 8:00 AM to Noon.

The Town of Hilton Head To Execute Drainage Work On Battery Road
The work is scheduled to occur within the week of January 25th on the easement between 33 and 35 Battery Road. The videoing and cleaning of the pipe should take approximately 4 business days, weather permitting.
The Town of Hilton Head To Replace Failed Drainage Pipe In Proximity to Genoa Court and Mizzenmast Court
The Town of Hilton Head Island's Contractor will be conducting drainage failure repair work beginning the week of February 1st in proximity to Genoa Court and Mizzenmast Court. This work will be conducted within existing CSA drainage easements and road rights-of-ways and is expected to take approximately 3 weeks, weather permitting. Please use caution while driving, walking, or biking near the work zone. We look forward to sharing more details as they become available.
