November 25th & November 26th will be Parent/Teacher conference days.  Sign up sheets are outside of each classroom.  If you are unable to make either day, speak with the teacher to set up a time outside of those days.

We have a limited number of City Saver Cards left in our office.  The cost is $20.  There are so many coupons that can be used repeatedly on these cards.  Please stop by the office so you can learn more or purchase one before the end of the week!  The school receives 50% profit for every card sold.
Since we will not be in school on 11/5 there will be no lunch offered on this day.  Please ignore the menu which lists a lunch on 11/5!

There are still a few spots for Thanksgiving care available but will be full soon.  Please send in your forms ASAP if you need care on those days.

                                            Quinn to baby Veyda!

Brooks, Beckham, Shaylynn and Veyda we need a group photo for now and in three years!  Preschool class of 2022!
Thank you to our PTA, Ms. J and all families who came out to participate in our 6th annual trunk or treat!  It was a huge success and we were excited to have such a nice turnout!  Our raffle and concessions raised just over $400 dollars which will be used for Art supplies for all classes!
Huge shout out to dad Mr. Tovar for donating his DJ services!
Update on Mrs. L~ Mrs. L had a successful surgery on Tuesday and is resting comfortably at home.  She is in good spirits and appreciates all of the prayers and support that she has received from her school family!
Picture Day is coming!  10/29 & 10/30 we will have photographers here.  Classrooms are assigned based on the attendance of the majority of the class.  Please see your child's order form for his/her assigned picture day.  Classroom teachers and the office will have this information as well.

We ask that parents drop students off as usual for picture day and avoid hanging around to monitor pictures. Photographers have an entire school to photograph and do not have time for a personal photo shoot.  :)   If you have  concerns about your child's reaction to getting a picture taken, please discuss with the teacher.  Part of preschool/PK growth is managing new situations with the guidance of an adult other than the parent/guardian.  Teachers are gauging student reactions and helping them through those emotions so they may gain confidence and independence!

Please note that these photos will be used for the yearbook.  Additional photos will be taken in the spring but will not be used for the yearbook.

Halloween Parade and Parties

-If your child does not typically attend school during the party  you may bring your child for the party/parade and stay, swap days with a regularly scheduled day or add the day for $25.  Please let your child's teacher know the plans for your child or fill out a form included in the yellow folder!

-Please refer to classroom newsletters for details on the specific class celebrations as each are slightly different.
-If you are planning on coming to visit during the party, you MUST complete a Non-guilty form as well as an Expectations Form and have it on file.

NON-GUILTY FORM                                Expectations Form
Please remember to SEND costumes to school. Having a multitude of adults arriving right before the parade with costumes will cause undue chaos in the building. Have costumes labeled and leave small pieces at home including weapons.  Costumes must be easy to put on with a little help from an adult. Please do not have children come in scary, violent or gory costumes. Remember we have children who have just turned 3 here!  We want this to be a fun experience for all. Be sure that the costume is easy to walk in since students will be parading. If you have a spare costume you wish to donate or loan for the day, please let your child's teacher know.  Sometimes a child comes with no costume and it would be wonderful to have a spare here and there!
