The remaining 522 active cases that have been detected are in the community. Currently, there are 69 people hospitalized, 10 of those on ventilators, and 98 people have died from the virus.

Hutchinson said that due to the consecutive days of infection and hospitalizations, that they are unable to predict when the state will enter the second phase of reopening, commenting that it is not encouraging. He said the state will not enter Phase 2 on Monday, May 18, as hoped.
