EL DORADO COUNTY NOW ORANGE
Sacramento - Today Governor Gavin Newsom and El Dorado County's Public Health Officer, Dr. Nancy Williams announced that El Dorado County has met the requirements to move from red to orange in the Blueprint for a Safer Economy.

At a minimum, counties must remain in a tier for at least 3 weeks before moving forward. To move forward, a county must meet the next tier’s criteria for two consecutive weeks. Public health officials are constantly monitoring data and can step in if necessary.

GOVERNOR SIGNS LAWS FOR COMPANIES ON COVID-19 REPORTING & WORKERS' COMP
The Sacramento Bee - SB 1159 and AB 685 were signed into law on September 17, 2020. Employers must give the notice within one business day of finding out that their subcontractor at the worksite or employees has tested positive or is ordered to self-isolate. Article by Jeong Park

HARASSMENT TRAINING: We have partnered with the California Chamber of Commerce to bring you required California Harassment Prevention Training. Under the new law, SB 778, all employees, supervisory and non-supervisory, must be trained by January 1, 2021.
 
BUSINESS LICENSING: Remember to keep your business license current, whether you are home-based, remote, or in-person.
